Animals in Distress

“The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust has helped Animals in Distress, as an affiliated charity, for many years, including in the early days when we were struggling to pay the mounting bills. Regular input from the Trust helped to keep us afloat many times when we needed it, whether we were paying the expensive vets bills or just needed support. When the times were hard, and the wolf was at our door, you came to the rescue.

Over the time that we have been with the Trust, we have microchipped and neutered domestic animals which has prevented unwanted pets. We have become involved in helping and supporting wildlife. We now have two sanctuaries where we rehome horses, donkeys, reptiles and many other larger creatures that cannot be dealt with at the Irlam site”
