The JS Trust have been a staunch supporter of the animals at Freshfields for over 12 years. You have had the vision to identify the core issues, backed up with the practical support to help us be there for animals in desperate need. You have saved the lives and transformed the future for hundreds of abandoned, abused and neglected animals. A recent award, for a Maternity Suite and Incubator for vulnerable kittens, has been invaluable. Just 1 day after it was installed, we rescued two 1-day old kittens. They are alive and thriving today, because of the Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust.

The terrified kittens were brought in by a supporter who found them on waste ground in Anglesey. Our friend had observed a heavily pregnant cat and been keeping an eye on her, and the next day she found the new-borns with no mum in sight. She brought them in to us immediately and they were put straight into our new facility.  

It was touch and go but they made it! This is just one of many success stories that have only happened because of the compassion, generosity and vision of the JS Trust.
