HART aims to become integrated into the communities where it works with annual vaccination programmes, rolling neutering programmes and the provision of low-cost veterinary services. The grants provided by the Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust enable continuity of these services and have helped create a healthier and safer environment for thousands of animals.  The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust also made a generous contribution to funds for the relief of animals caught up in the aftermath of the 2015 earthquake in Nepal.
