Sidmouth Arc has celebrated 50 years of rehoming stray and unwanted dogs. When I took over running Arc thirty years ago the charity was almost penniless.
The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust were the first people to help me and enable me to continue to build the charity to what it is today. For many years we did not need any help but in the last three years running costs have accelerated. Once again Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust came to our aid for which we are most grateful.
