When Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter was formed back in 1983, we were delighted to have the support and affiliation from the Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust.   In the early days Mrs Sainsbury would regularly telephone me to ensure we were on the right track and the Charity was delighted that she was able to come along and officially open our site.
