The Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust is managed by a Board of seven Trustees. With diverse backgrounds including veterinary, legal, animal welfare and finance, their collective experience and knowledge ensure the Trust's continued success.

They meet three times a year to oversee administration and funding, in addition to carefully reviewing applications and distributing grants.

Administrator - Tracy Boyle

Tracy joined Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust in August 2022, working alongside the Administrator, Barbara Georgiou. Tracy learnt all aspects of running a small charitable Trust from Barbara, taking over in May 2024 when Barbara retired, working solo until Gianna joined at the end of 2024.

Tracy has over 13 years’ experience working as a charity administrator, and more years than she cares to remember in various managerial roles, including running a busy West End pub.

Outside of work, Tracy has a busy home life with two teenage children, a football-mad husband and a very lazy Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog, called Chilli.

Administration Assistant - Gianna de Tisi

Gianna joined the Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust in December 2024, where she collaborates with Tracy in the organisation's administration. Her primary focus is on managing the website and social media.

With over 13 years of experience in the wildlife and animal charity sector, Gianna has worked in various administrative roles, including face-to-face fundraising, recruitment, and marketing.

In addition to her work, Gianna volunteers at her local animal shelter each week. She enjoys cuddling the cats and ensuring their kennels are cosy and clean. She has recently adopted one of the shelter’s kittens, one of seven found by the side of the road, a gorgeous boy named Bertie (not the giant ginger pictured here!).
